Abstract
This essay aims to investigate the inner nature of the pedagogical thinking of Pasolini, and its evolution throughout the decades between 1943 and 1975. The study is conducted by analysing the 30 years pasolinian heterogeneous production dedicated to the problems of the Italian education system and, as well, by investigating the direct experience of Pasolini as a teacher. This piece of research also tries to reconstruct the public debate aroused by the publication of Pasolini's articles on «Il Mondo» and «Il Corriere della Sera» in 1975.
