Abstract
It is a well-established opinion that the archives of lawyers, especially those engaged in political and social issues, constitute a precious source for studying society, institutions, history, and law. The essay focuses on the case study of Bianca Guidetti Serra’s archive: she was a lawyer, a city councilor and a parliamentarian, who contributed, with her civil and professional commitment, to improving of the conditions of the weakest.
