Abstract
In the dynamics of creation, use and transmission of personal archives, not only their creators play a crucial role, but also the various subjects who, over time, deal with them: legal and spiritual heirs, archival institutions and archivists who arrange and describe them. The article examines critically how representations, images and narratives of the various subjects who contribute to producing, selecting, arranging and preserving them can be reflected in the personal archives.
