Abstract
The paper is about A.C. Jemolo's teaching at the Sassari University (1920-1923). In the letters sent to the colleague Mario Falco, Jemolo, Professor of ecclesiastical Law, gives a description of university context in a provincial athenaeum. Jemolo illustrates the town, his colleagues, his students and the libraries of Sassari. During the teaching in Sassari he wrote the substantial essay about Bartolo of Sassoferrato and the issue of Franciscan Poverty published on the review "Studi Sassaresi" and the reprint of the textbook of Andrea Galante.
