Abstract
This paper offers a review of some documentary sources on public constituencies between 1814 and the early 1860s in the Kingdom of Sardinia. These documents have been produced by the Piedmontese ministries and are now preserved in the National Archives of Turin. They show particularly how Savoy government authorities were constantly careful to harmonize the administrative districts, judicial and military.
