Abstract
The essay reconstructs a biobibliographical and intellectual profile of Riccardo Del Punta, a fine academic scholar of labor law who died prematurely in 2022. In particular, the essay highlights Del Punta’s contribution to reflection on the values and philosophical foundation of Labor Law, especially recalling the influence Amartya Sen’s capability theory had on his thinking and research.
