Abstract
In this contribution, I attempt to find the methodological «added value» which the category of intersectionality can offer to the qualitative political/social sciences' "critical paradigm". To do this, I maintain reference to the origins, that is the historical context which gave birth to the category. This is pursued in order to appropriately transfer the concept to similar frames of analysis, thanks to its heuristic potentialities to sensitively sound out discriminatory social/political relationships in given times and spaces.
