Abstract
The article aims to critically discuss the main thesis of "Capitalism. A Conversation in Critical Theory" written by Nancy Fraser and Rahel Jaeggi. The author shows how, in contrast with the current literature on crisis, Fraser and Jaeggi elaborate a critical theory of society able to face the many crises of our time. They come to this result through an expandend conception of capitalism as an institutionalised social order, constituted by a set of structural divisions and institutional separations which are eventually prone to crisis. In recostructing this account, the author analyzes its advantages and weakness alike.
