Abstract
The study analyses the reform proposals of the Italian constitutional rules on ownership and enterprise, examining both the cultural matrix of the constituent assembly work and the emerging connections in economic matters between the Italian Constitution and other European constitutions. The author sustains the absence of a Marxist ideological conditioning and indicates the strong homogeneity of content between the Italian constitution and the other constitutional democracies in Europe. Frequent reforms can therefore be carried out, not for the real needs of the economic system, but with the lack of collective assimilation of constitutional values shared.
