Abstract
The object of this paper is the distinction between contingent individual and personal individual in the German Ideology. In our opinion, this distinction is relevant for two reasons: it gives an important and rare view on the historical position of individual in the passage between a mode of production to another; it shows that the problem of real individual, at least from a theoretical point of view, not belongs to the political discourse coherent with capitalist mode of production, but to the communism.
