Abstract
The Author discusses J.B. Schneewind's book, "The invention of autonomy", a history of moral philosophy from giusnaturalism to Kant. The central theme of this book is the relationship between God and man and the reason for human action. The Author focuses herself with particular attention and with critical remarks on Pufendorf's thought.
