Abstract
The aim of this article is to in-depth analyze the relationship between Gramsci and Foucault. The author will address the topic not only referring to the problem of power, but also outlining the convergence between Foucault’s and Gramsci’s theoretical devices. Indeed, both authors develop strategical analyses articulated in two interconnected fundamental moments: the genealogical and the tactical, both functional to the political praxis. The final part of the article focuses on the transition from the State to the regulated society analyzed by Gramsci, shedding light on the connections with some foucauldian concepts.
