Abstract
The relationship of interference and tension between different cultures, social and cultural norms, the need for recognition, within public space, of instances forced in the private space of tolerance, the process of subjectivation to which new political interlocutors and new juridical subjects aspire, the vindication of rights: all this constitute the core of a debate that sometimes transforms into social conflict. A serious reflection on multiculturalism can offer a preliminary answer to these problems, that links the analysis of the issues at stake with their theoretical premises. The aim is create a new language for ancient theme, i.e. wheter social bond consists of violence or recognition.
