Abstract

The essay examines the structure of questioning in the thought of Leo Strauss, showing how it takes his shape from the relationship between rationality and theological-political problem. Moreover, the essay underlines the role played by Lessing in the definition of Strauss's theoretical framework and in his hermeneutics. Finally, the paper shows Strauss's regain of the question of just life as the core of political philosophy.
