Abstract
The essay discusses the reception of Frantz Fanon's thought in the so-called Black Studies, especially in the recent production of Paul Gilroy. Their use of Fanon appears instrumental to preserve the original radicalness of black critic from the risks of its integration in Western mainstream world.
