Abstract
This article is based on the data collected and some of the results obtained from an ongoing project on language contact in Trentino and South Tyrol. Therefore, it will consider the methodological issues involved in data collection, transcription and annotation. Besides, this study seeks to verify whether a preference in alternational patterns correlates with specific sociolinguistic profiles. This hypothesis will be tested by carrying out a systematic analysis of language alternation patterns within a spoken corpus.
