Abstract
Published in 1981, "Amore" belongs to the last period of Giorgio Manganelli's production. Examining structural, thematical and philological elements of Manganelli's papers at the Fondo Manoscritti of Pavia University, the essay delineates the fundamental articulations of the book and points out its para¬doxical nature, open to every kind of interpretation.
