Abstract

This article tackles the theme of madness and its linguistics reflections in Lucio Mastronardi's "Maestro di Vigevano". The analysis focuses on the symptoms of schizophrenia in the language used by the protagonist Antonio Mombelli and compares such features to those in Paolo Volponi's "Memoriale" and "La macchina mondiale".
