Abstract
The two letters published here concern the semitic population of Ethiopia, the Falashas, which was the subject of an interesting work written by Filosseno Luzzatto in the fiftties of the 19th century. The letters document the sources of his work, primarily the account of James Bruce's travel in Ethiopia.
