Abstract
This paper analyses Renata Vigano's novel "Agnese va a morire", focusing mainly on the expressions of visual and auditory perception as viewed by the author. The result is a framework in which the representation appears as deeply symbolic and the custodian of the simple ideology of Agnes, whose point of view divides the represented world between good and evil.
