Abstract
Among the unpublished texts gathered in A tanto caro sangue (Mondadori, 1988), Giovanni Raboni included "Imbarcadero", one of the most important poems on the topic of death in his whole "corpus". The analysis of the drafts, held at the poet's private archive, clarifies how Raboni assimilated his mortuary poetry to the structure of Dante's "Commedia".
