Abstract

The Metelli fund collects scientific material (about 6 thousand documents) left by Fabio Metelli (1907-1987). It is kept at the Interdepartmental Library of Psychology «Fabio Metelli» of the University of Padua. The present paper describes the structure of the fund (there are 5 sub-funds: Metelli fund "trasparency", Metelli fund "perception", Metelli fund "general", Metelli fund "correspondence", Metelli fund "miscellany") and the methodology used to organise the material. The paper includes also a summary of the contents. In particular, the correspondence (with J. Beck, R. Arnheim, F. Bartlett, J.J. Gibson, M. Henle, G. Kanizsa, L. Kardos, I. Kohler, W. Metzger, C. Musatti, E. Rausch, I. Rock, A.F. Sander, etc.) reflects the international dimension of the Metelli's research. In the end there is a schematic biography of Fabio Metelli.
