Abstract
In a complex, uncertain and constantly changing world, it is an imperative need to develop new skills, and one of them is creative thinking. Indeed, creativity is currently considered as one of the main responses to the contemporary need for change and innovation. This has fueled a growing and inter-disciplinary interest in the intra-individual and inter-individual factors that influence the development of creative thinking and make it functional to the innovation process. The present work aims at synthesizing the above mentioned factors and suggesting methodologies that can facilitate the development and realization of a «creativity for innovation».
