Abstract
The approaches of human sciences which are concerned with the topic of responsibility have defined responsibility as a "relational" construct. This relational prerogative, made explicit by philosophy and humanistic psychology since the fifties, has been systematically explored into social psychology only in the last years. The present review has the aim to point out likenesses among different psychological approaches and to suggest the concept of "social action" as a unit of analysis for psychosocial research on responsibility.
