Abstract
This paper provides a systematic review of the empirical evidence on the association between attachment relationships and involvement into cyberbullying. Ten studies meeting the eligibility criteria are summarized, analysed, and discussed. Results indicate that attachment bonds, both to parents and peers, constitute crucial factors to explain involvement into cyberbullying in preadolescence, adolescence, and young adulthood, in the role of both victims and perpetrators. Future implications and limits are discussed.
