Abstract
The paper takes a closer look at the impact of climate litigation on tackling the climate crisis. First, it highlights the specific elements that characterise climate change from a legal perspective, starting from the International Climate Change Regime. Furthermore, the paper focuses on the global explosion of climate change litigation with the aim of understanding whether and how climate change litigation can play a role in the fight against human-induced climate change.
