Abstract
Codici, the latest book by Pietro Rescigno, is a collection of essays about civil codes in Europe, Latin America and other countries. It also deals prospects of the idea of code in the age of multiculturalism and globalisation. This note briefly sums up the book's contents and Rescigno's teachings, by discussing, with a touch of humour, relationships among reading codes and books, writing them, and travelling the world.
