Abstract

The publication of the latest book by R. Rordorf gives the opportunity to dwell on current trends in the legal culture of judges. The protection of fundamental rights, the evolution of economic law, the principle of stare decisis, the “nomofilachiaµ exercised by the Supreme Court of Cassation (in guaranteeing the uniform interpre- tation of the law), the current role of the Supreme Court, are the most significant themes of a central debate in this phase of Italian and European legal experience.
