Abstract
The article analyzes the thin procedural discipline imposed by regulation 2017/1939 with particular regard to the investigative measures of the EPPO. In particular, a compromise model of cooperation is envisaged that could be developed in practice on the basis of an advanced interpretation of the institute of cross-border investigations. There remains the issue of the protection of the rights of the defense, which is left to the procedural discipline set by the Member States.
