Abstract

The work makes an attempt at a classification of disputes among jurists, taking into consideration some of the most significant aspects thereof, namely interpretation, interpretive methods, antinomies, gaps, principles, implicit norms and dogmatic theses. The taxonomy of legal disputes outlined is deliberately non-exhaustive and overlooks the truly theoretical disagreements among jurists, i.e. those having as their object the description (axiologically neutral) of law in force and legal practice, or the construction of the concepts necessary for such description.
