Abstract

In the contribution, which reproduces the report delivered on the occasion of the Days in Honour of Guido Corso, which took place in Palermo on 12 December 2014, the author takes as a starting point the 'company notion' of public administration to reflect on the distinctive traits of the juridical idea of public administration. In particular, he concentrates on the formal notion of 'public interest' and on the relationship that exists between collective interests, general interests and public interests to come to demonstrate that the legal definition of administration is not substantially different, even if expressed in a different language, from the company type definition.
