Abstract
The article analyses the constitutional dimension of environmental protection in the light of the anthropocentric vision arising from the Italian Constitution. Furthermore, the article considers opportunities for reform of the Constitution that would entrench specific international and European principles aimed at guiding the concrete implementation of the constitutional value of the environment.
