Abstract
The article considers the legal discipline of Italy’s participation in wars in the light of constitutional principles and limits. It looks at the evolution of the role of the Government, Parliament, and the President of the Republic in the framework of the rules on the form of government and evaluates them consistently with the original intention of the constitution drafters.
