Abstract

During the pandemic, religious life has been deeply affected. While many activities could move to Zoom and other communication platforms, Judaism had to confront with Halachà that stated that electricity cannot be used on Shabbat. The article deals with the relationship between Halachà and electricity during the pandemic, from the point of view of different strand of thought within Judaism.
