Abstract
The paper analyzes the rules of the Legislative Decree 130/2020 directly and indirectly concerning the condition of migrants for religious reasons as well as the exercise of their rights of freedom, especially after the innovations on humanitarian protection in 2018. Other marginal aspects of the Legislative Decree and missed opportunities to ensure full protection of migrants’ religious affiliation are also considered.
