Abstract

The essay considers the separation, which has now taken place, between sexuality and procreation; and the progressive shift of human reproductive processes under the technical domain: medicine and biomedical engineering. A step on this path is represented by surrogacy and the problems posed by parenthood of the same sex. Law is crossed and questioned by these passages towards a new world: and this contribution analyzes the latest developments in Italian and European jurisprudence on the subject
