Abstract
The underlying principles of the new Constitution on the Roman Curia point towards its dynamization in a missionary and ministerial key. For both persons and structures, the drive for service is dominant: service to the pope but also, almost at the same level, service to the local Churches. At the normative level, while the apical curial offices are opened to a variety of faithful, the turnover of officers is encouraged. Other novelties and future prospects are the subjects of brief comment
