Abstract

This paper analyzes the regulatory measures of Pope Francis, Sovereign of the Vatican City State. Every sector of vatican law (criminal law, procedural law, labour law, financial law etc.) seems to have been affected by the reforms of the Pope, whose interventions, however, remain along the lines of ecclesiastical tradition and demonstrate a certain substantive continuity with the work of his predecessors but, sometimes, also discontinuity.
