Abstract

This contribution examines the answers which the essays published in this issue offer to the question of ecclesiastical policy, especially through the plurality of subjects that may envisage and implement it: States and their administrative divisions, international organizations, religious denominations and lobbies. The first part takes into account the Italian case, examining the subjects and the instruments of ecclesiastical policy. The second part focuses upon the European context, especially France, Germany, Russia and Turkey, as well as the European Union and the United States.
