Abstract
The case of Baby Loup originated a long court case, studies, reports and opinions of advisory bodies. The subject of the debate is the extension the principles of laïcité to private employment. The article analyses the responses of Law, advisory bodies and Parliament. Uncertain solution, to the light of the Cass. Ch. Soc. N. 630/2015: Request for preliminary ruling to the Court of Luxembourg, on the employer's power to restrict the religious freedom of the employee, at the behest of the customer.
