Abstract
The journal "Stato, Chiese e pluralismo confessionale", edited by Professor Giuseppe Casuscelli, has devoted a special attention to the Catholic Church - and especially to Benedict XVI's pontificate - and to religious minorities between 2007 and 2015. The fil rouge connecting the two themes is the principle of State secularism.
