Abstract

The work carried out through platforms constitutes one of the most important changes in all labor markets as a result of the intense digitization processes of the economy. One of the main concerns caused by this process of change is the degree of vulnerability of the working conditions of those who provide services in this area and the need to introduce protection rules in this regard. One of the most important initiatives in this regard is the proposal for a Directive on platform work, the subject of this study. Through it, it is intended to analyze the impact that its approval may have in three specific aspects: presumption of employment in the work of platforms; control of automated systems and transparency of platform work
