Abstract
The essay faces Csr topic, analysing the initiatives realised in the national and European context so far, in order to verify which effects can derive from companies' socially responsible practices on the level of individual employment relationship. The author, after a brief examination of the features of the Anglo-American legal system, is persuaded that the voluntary nature of Csr approach does not prevent the production of legal effects in the continental systems as well. He advances the possibility of achieving a better supra-national dialogue on fundamental social rights through a proper development of research on this topic.
