Abstract

The paper discusses the individual worker power to transfer one's own file from an occupational pension fund to another one. After having described the challenges posed by Act n. 335 of 1995, which has reformed the public pensions system, the paper reconstructs the genesis of the rule and analyses its implications, in term of relationship between individual freedom and collective power. Finally, the Author suggests the importance of a public control to prevent risks concerning the economic stability of the fund and the workers' security.
