Abstract

The present Italian Minister of Labour - a distinguished Professor of Labour Law - reflects upon the most recent issues of the labour politics in Italy within the European context. Particularly he deals with the government of labour market, the reform of Welfare institutions, the special intervention against unemployment in Southern Italy, the perspectives of training and of "workfare", the working time.
