Abstract
The Author reconstructs, from a historical and systematic point of view, the relationships between labour law and federal organisation of the State in the German Federal Republic. He dwells, particularly, upon the recent tensions that, in Germany, seem to have interested the regulation of the employment relationships, that tends more and more toward the centralisation. These problems are probably linked to the new systems of production, to the new forms of work and to the business transformations. The Author believes that the solution of such problems can consist in the strengthening of the individual autonomy supported by a co-determination effectively favoured by the law.
