Abstract
The essay develops a critical analysis of the contents of labour legislation enacted by the Renzi Government since 2014 to march 2015, starting form its ambiguous and deceptive formative process. The main contents of that legislation are taken into consideration: the new discipline of dismissals, temporary employment contracts, social protection provisions, labour active policies. Conclusively a basic problematic question is posed: whether we are facing an occasional intervention, in the long standing frame of the neo-liberist legislation of labour flexibility, or a strategic design aimed at overturning the relationship between labour and undertaking, first of all as values are concerned.
