Abstract

The author, after having briefly described the examination procedure of asylum application and the reception system arranged by Italian law, analyses the labour statute of the applicants for international protection. The goal is to verify the speciality level that marks that statute compared to the general labour regulation. In particular, the survey is focused on the three productive activities that asylum seekers can carry out pending a decision on their application: work, extracurricular internship and volunteering.
