Abstract
In the form of a hypothetical screenplay, the text traces the events that led to the approval of the Act that in 1898 introduced the mandatory insurance for the risk of accidents at work of industrial workers and examines the reasons that led to the abandon, for these events, of the legal theory and practice of civil liability.
