Abstract
This article considers a particular aspect of Giorgio Pastori's studies on welfare state. It is focused on the contribution of this scholar to a vision of welfare state capable of enhancing all the resources of society in connection with the subsidiarity principle. Moreover this article shows how such a vision has characterized the evolution of Italian law in recent decades also due to the Giorgio Pastori's influence on Italian culture.
